고질병 고혈압으로 인한 두통

 복잡한 소송문제가 있어서 약혼녀와 함께 기도하기 위해서 기도원을 찾았습니다.

 목사님께서 3일 금식을 권면하셔서 금식을 하게 되었는데, 둘째 날 심한 두통이 있었습니다. 오랫동안 고혈압으로 인한 고질적인 두통 있는데, 금식중이어서 약을 먹지 않았더니 더욱 심해져 견딜 수가 없었습니다. 금식중임에도 불구하고 약을 먹었지만 두통은 더욱 심해졌습니다. 그래도 저녁예배를 드리기 위해 성전에 앉았는데, 목사님께서 예배 전에 30분간 말씀암송을 하자고 하셨습니다. 

 다른 성도님들은 큰 소리로 암송을 하시지만, 머리가 너무 아파서 말씀을 소리 내어 선포하지도 못하고 그저 속으로 따라하며 머리가 아프지 않기를 기도했는데, 약 10분이 지났을까? 머리가 아프지 않았습니다. 그냥 느낌인 것 같아서 머리를 좌우로, 위아래로 흔들어 보아도 아프지 않았습니다. 너무나 신기해서 말씀 암송이 끝나고도 계속 흔들어보았지만 두통이 깨끗이 사라졌습니다. 말씀 한 구절에 이런 큰 위력이 있다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 귀한 경험을 하게 하신 하나님께 감사드립니다.

Headache from chronic disease, high blood pressure

I came to Immanuel Prayer House to pray with my fiancé regarding a complicated litigation.

Since Pastor Chon suggested that I fast for three days, I did so. The second day, I got a severe headache. It was from the high blood pressure I had suffered from for a long time. Because I was fasting, I did not take the medicine I had been prescribed for HBP. However, when the headache got worse, I could not bear it anymore. I took the medicine even though I was fasting. Even then, the headache got worse and worse, so I went to the sanctuary for the night service although I was sick. That night, Pastor Chon said that we would be proclaiming a Bible verse for thirty minutes.

Although others proclaimed with a loud voice, I could not even voice out a sound to proclaim the word due to my headache. I only proclaimed the word in my mind while pleading with God to rid me of my headache. About ten minutes later, my head was not hurting anymore. Afraid that this was only temporary, I moved my head sideways. The headache was completely gone! It was so astonishing that I shook my head even after we had finished proclaiming the word to ensure that I was really experiencing healing, and I did. Through this experience, I realized the immense power of the word of God. I Thank God for allowing me to have this precious experience.
