Come and Dance

제가 노르웨이에 있을 때, 저는 종종 하나님께 “물”만 가지고 오랫동안 금식 하는 것을 원했습니다. 제가 노르웨이에 있으면서 오랫동안 금식하기란 쉽지가 않았는데, 그 이유는 교인들이 운영하는 기도원 같은 곳에서 제가 음식을 준비하는 직업을 가지고 있었기 때문입니다. 단지 며칠 금식 하는데 만 성공했었는데, 내 마음은 늘 좀 더 깊게 오랫동안 금식을 하고 싶었습니다. 

어느 날 시내에서 제가 쇼핑을 하고 있는데, 제가 아는 사람에게서 전화가 왔습니다. 그녀가 내게 말하기를 그들 부부가 미국에 있는 기도원에 간다는 것이었습니다. 그녀가 묻기를 자신들과 “함께 가겠느냐” 그 질문을 듣는 순간, 내 마음이 떨리기 시작했고 내가 미국에 함께 가야 된다는 생각이 동시에 났습니다. 그녀가 전 목사님께 전화를 해서 나에 대해 물어본다고 했습니다. 전 목사님께서 기도를 한 후에 다시 그녀에게 전한 말씀이 “임마누엘 기도원에 3개월 동안 오라” 는 것이었습니다. 하나님께서 노르웨이에 있는 모든 것을 남겨둔 채 저를 이곳으로 불렀습니다. 마치 주님께서 저를 잡아 이곳 기도원에 금방 내려놓은 기분입니다. 제가 오직 알고 있는 것 하나는, 제가 기도원에 가야 된가는 것뿐이었습니다.

기도원에 도착해서 2주후에 전 목사님께서는 내게 말씀하시길 “주님께서 21일 동안 ”물“로만 금식하라는 것”입니다. 저는 2005년 12월 27일에 금식을 시작해서 2006년 1월 16일에 예수님의 도움으로 금식을 끝냈습니다. 이것은 기적입니다. 전 한 번도 이토록 길게 금식을 해본 적이 없었고, 또 주님께서 제 기도에 응답하신 것이었습니다. 금식 기간 동안, 제 심장 주의 왼쪽 편 몸에 많은 고통을 느꼈습니다. 숨쉬기도 곤란하며, 숨이 가쁠 때도 있었습니다. 매 예배시간마다 전 목사님께서 우리 모두를 위해 기도해 주셨고 또한 나의 병에 고침을 위해 기도했는데, 21일 금식이 끝나기 전에 주님께서 완전하게 절 고쳐 주셨습니다. 

다른 간증은 “사랑합니다” 복음성가입니다. 우리가 이 복음성가를 부를 때마다 하나님에 제게 말씀하십니다. “춤을 추어라” 그러나 전 늘 주님께 대답하길 “아니요, 할 수 없어요”라고 했습니다. 왜냐하면 제가 서서 춤을 출 만큼 용기도 없고 자신감도 없고, 사람들의 시선과 판단이 두려웠습니다. 그러나 주님이 어느 날 저를 세우셨습니다. 제 깊은 곳에서 전 더 이상 거부할 수 없을 정도로, 무언가 저를 일으켜 세웠으며 그때에 전 교회 안에서 춤을 추기 시작했고, 이후로 “사랑합니다” 찬송을 할 때 마다 춤을 추게 되었습니다.

또 다른 간증은, 예배시간에 “사랑합니다” 찬송을 할 때 예수님께서 교회 문으로 들어오셔서 그의 손을 내게 내밀며 “와서 춤을 추어라”라고 말씀하셨습니다.

1월 22일 주일예배 때 전 목사님께서 우리가 당면한 어떤 문제, 질병, 두려움, 경제적인 것들을 놓고 갈라디아서 2장 20절을 외우라고 했고 “내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제 내가 산 것이 아니요 내 안에 그리스도께서 사신 것이라 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라”를 30분간 계속 외웠고, 그 다음은 방언으로 연결되었으며 난 또한 내 이름을 갈라디아서 2장 20절에 놓고 계속 외웠을 때 이 말씀이 내게 진짜로 살아서 움직였고 예수님께서 나의 오른쪽에 서 있었습니다. 그렇게 예수님께서 말씀하셨고 나도 말씀을 드렸습니다. 우리의 대화는 제가 기도했던 노르웨이 사람들의 구원과 예수를 믿는 자들이 예수님을 믿지 않는 사람들의 복음전도 이었습니다.

주님과의 대화 후, 우린 특송하는 사람의 특송을 들을 때 전 표현 못할 만큼의 행복감과 기쁨이 내 마음에 가득 찼고, 전 다시 일어서서 춤을 추었으며 예배가 끝났음에도 불구하고 춤을 계속 추었습니다. 제가 말씀의 능력, 특히 누가복음 10장 19절, 갈라디아서 2장 20절, 요한 일서 1장 7절 등 전 목사님께서 가르친 것을 말씀을 되풀이 하면서 우린 하나님의 초자연적인 말씀의 능력과 기적을 경험했고, 제가 임마누엘 기도원에 있는 동안 전 목사님의 가르침은 제게 특별한 기적을 경험케 했습니다. 전 천사도 보았고 예수님도 직접 만났습니다. 무엇보다도 중요한 것은 전 목사님의 가르침이 절 더욱 성숙한 믿음의 사람으로 만들어 주었습니다. 전 예수님께 감사드리며, 목사님께 감사드립니다.

Edith Ness Testimony

When I was in Norway, I often ask God that I would like to fast for long time with water only. It was very difficult for me to do in Norway for such a long time of fasting, because my job is to prepare meals for the retreat center that runs by Christian.

I was only successful for few days, but my heart was always thirsty for more and longer periods of fasting.

One day I got phone call from a sister in Christ while I was at downtown shopping.

She told me that she and her husband are going to the Prayer house in the United States.

She asked me "would I like to go with them?" As soon as I heard, my heart was tremble and I knew that I should go with them to U.S.

The sister called Pastor Chon in U.S. and asked about me; after Pastor prayed and called her back, said that "Lord wants me to be in Immanuel Prayer House for three months. The Lord let me leave everything in Norway and bring me here. The Lord just picks me up and put me in this Prayer House immediately.

I only know that one thing; I need to be here.

After 2 weeks of my arrival here, Pastor Chon told me that the Lord asks me to do 21 days of fasting with only water. I have started Dec. 27, 2005 and ended in Jan, 16 2006. with Lord helps.

It is miracle for me, I have never did this long fasting, and Lord answered my prayer about "long fasting" request.

During the fasting, I had experiencing so much pain in my left side of my body around of my heart area, and experiencing difficulty of breathing and shortness of breathe. 

Each worship service, Pastor Chon prayed for all of us in the service meeting and she also prayed very much for my healing, then before 21 days of fasting is over, Lord healed me completely.

The other testimony is; "Sa Lang Hap Ni Da" song. Each time we sang this Gospel song, God talked to me "Go ahead, dance," but my answer was always "No, Lord, No," because I feel so ashamed myself and fell not worthy to stand and dance, because of my fear of people's rejection and judgement. 

However, God raised me up one day, I felt deep inside of my belly, I could not resist anymore, then, and I got up and began to dance in the sanctuary. After this, each time I hear the song "Sa Lang Hap Ni Da" song, I now dance.

One of worship service time, we sang again. "Sa Lang Hap Ni Da" song, Jesus came into the sanctuary door and He stretched His arms to me and wants me to "Come and Dance."

It was Jan 22, 2006 Sunday Pastor Chon told us to pray over whatever we are facings; problems, sickness, fear, finance, etc,. we should proclaim the Galatians 2:20- "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me" for 30 minutes. After that we all started to speak in tongue, and at that time, I begin to put my name in Galatians 2:20, the Scripture came so real and vivid to me.

Then Jesus came to me and stood on my right side of me. Jesus begins to talk to me, and then I talk to him. We are having conversation. The conversation includes what I was praying about such as salvation of Norway people, and the Christian who suffering from their backsliding. 

After the conversation, we have special guest singer was singing, I was overly happy and my heart was filled with joy, and I was dancing again and I could not stop dancing even though the service was over.

I have learned power of Scripture such as; Luke 10:19, Gal 2:20, and 1 John 1:7 and much more, Pastor Chon taught us to repeat the Words over and over, I finally received supernatural power of miracles from God through His Words, and Pastor's teaching while I was here in Immanuel Prayer House.

I saw Holy angels and I met Jesus, face to face.

Most of all I become more mature Christian by Pastor Chon's teachings.

I thank My Jesus and thank to Pastor Chon.
